Singularsinger is a blog thought to be used in a secondary school subject called ENGLISH SONGS. In this class the students have the opportunity to reinforce once a week their English lessons.

But in English Songs we do not worry about grammar, errors or correct spelling. We simply want to sing. We would like students to learn in a funny way.

AUTHOR

It is the teacher. My name is Eva and I normally teach Spanish Language and Literature but, as I also like English and I enjoy listening to music, I am the English Songs teacher, too.

I hope I can carry out this blog with my students´ contribution and collaboration.

PERIODICITY

Probably every two weeks.

AIM

• To improve English pronunciation through music.
• To improve oral skills and listening comprehension
• To enjoy ourselves and have fun learning about singers and their pieces.
• To take an active part in the development of the blog.

 

CONTENTES

Song’s lyrics, videos, and biographies will be the main contents of this blog.

The following are some examples of the different activities that you may find in this blog:

• Complete the song by filling the gaps.
• Put the sentences of a song in the correct order.
• Write simple comments about the meaning (the theme)
• Complete crosswords
• Record videos imitating some famous film scenes
• Outdoor activities
